Silver Linings

It’s said that ‘Every cloud has its silver lining’ and the saying is supposedly attributed to John Milton the famous poet. I’m not so sure about the silver lining bit in clouds, but I do find cloud formations fascinating and they often feature in my landscape photography. I don’t generally photograph clouds as subjects on their own, as I tend use them as a kind of accompaniment, to provide a balance or foil that supports the overall scene, so it’s unlikely that you’ll find photographs of nothing but clouds in my posts. Mind you, if I ever saw something truly remarkable then naturally I’d hope to be able to get some photographs.
